Company History

Fedco Batteries was founded in 1975 as Fedco Electronics an electronic parts distributor, and was incorporated in the state of Wisconsin in January 1976 as a family owned small business and has an excellent credit rating with Dun and Bradstreet.   Reference DUNS No. 07-616-4193.

Fedco Batteries is a manufacturer and distributor of batteries and battery packs for medical devices & Instrumentation, industrial controls, robotics (industrial, stationary and autonomous), military devices, a wide range of communication systems & devices, E-Mobility devices, utility meters, metrology and computer related equipment.  Custom battery packs are primarily assembled in their Fond du Lac, Wisconsin 16,000 sq/ft facility, with partners in the United States and Asia. Fedco has a support staff of four graduate engineers and is an authorized assembler of lithium-ion battery packs for five of the world's leading lithium-ion cell manufacturers.  Fedco's Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 Certified, and ISO 13485:2016 Certified.

Approximately 15% of sales are exported, with distributors in most industrialized countries.   The reseller portion of this web site, includes a secure customer login window that offers 24-hour access to product cross-reference, inventory, pricing, ordering and order FedEx & UPS shipment tracking.  This OEM portion of this web site, provides customers with an excellent introduction of our custom battery capabilities and transportation regulatory information.

Fedco Batteries is a charter member of PRBA, the Portable Rechargeable Battery Association.  The PRBA represents the U.S. battery industry in regulatory matters affecting the safety, transport, use, recycling and disposal of rechargeable batteries. www.prba.org.  Stephen P. Victor (C.E.O.) is on the Board of Directors of the PRBA and is an active participant on various PRBA working groups that are cooperating with the U.S. DOT and the International Aircraft Transportation Association (IATA) to insure the safe transport of lithium metal and lithium-ion batteries.
